Alberto Cavalcanti, Charles Crichton, Basil Dearden, and Robert Hamer · 1945 · The Castle Cinema
The 1945 psychological horror where architect Walter Craig arrives at an English country house and is unsettled to recognise the guests from a recurring dream. As each person recounts a supernatural experience—from a haunted mirror to a ventriloquist’s sinister dummy—the gathering draws ever closer to the nightmare Craig fears is coming true.
